Sweetbriar Open House

We had a fantastic time seeing our families and staff together at our Back to School open house event. We have a wonderful community of Stinger families who make our school such a great place to attend.

Thank you to Snowie PDX for the shaved ice treat.

Thank you also to City of Troutdale Recreation, Boy Scouts Pack 174, Girl Scouts, Safe Routes to School and our PALS group for attending the event.

Country Coffee Fundraiser - Monday Sept 21 All Day

PALS is sponsoring a Sweetbriar fundraiser at Country Coffee - Troutdale location - all day on Monday.

Mention SWEETBRIAR and we will receive $1 of each drink purchased.

PALS (Parents & Leaders for Students)

Thank you to our PALS for providing Sweetbriar school with fundraising events and providing parents the opportunity to volunteer and support our school❤️

Mt Hood Fall Matinee Program

Fall Season Matinee Pass for 8 movies is available thru Sweetbriar Elementary School office - $10.00 each pass.

Pay by cash, check, or Matinee link. Passes will be sent home with your student unless you contact office.

School Photos Tuesday, Sept 29th

How to order photos:

Return photo packet (you received at Open House) with your student on Tuesday, Sept 29th to hand to teacher.

Online ordering is also available at mydorian.com/order

All students have their photo taken on fall picture day for our school synergy system. You do not have to order a packet. We will have another photo day in the spring -including a class photo with classmates.

Retakes will be available on Friday, Nov 20th.

Love Locks - Sweetbriar Fundraiser

Sweetbriar Love Locks are now available to purchase. Pay with cash, check or LoveLocks link.

Love Locks are a tradition where people attach a lock to a special place as a symbol of connection, belonging, and cherished memories.

Sweetbriar is beginning its own Love Lock tradition to honor the relationships, milestones, and joyful moments that make our Mighty Bee community so special.

All proceeds support the Sweetbriar School Fund, helping us provide meaningful events, programs, and opportunities for our students and families.

The locks with your family name and or message will be locked onto our playground fence area by you or our staff. ❤️
